As a church, we’re so excited to have given over $79,000 in support to local nonprofit The Family Restored to help families affected by addictions.
The money, given by generous attenders of Eastpoint Church, will be used to offer family support groups at The Point, our community center during the week, as well provide 12-step workshops and scholarships for treatment and recovery housing.
Eric Girard, Executive Director, said of the gift, “we are incredibly grateful for the partnership we’ve created with the Eastpoint… it’s not really about Eastpoint or about The Family Restored, it’s about the families that are going to be helped.”
Eastpoint Church attenders gave offerings over the 2022 holidays as part of the Joyful Giving 2022 campaign, an annual drive to positively impact the Portland community by supporting local nonprofits. 2022 marks the 2nd annual Joyful Giving campaign.
